Dain Carson Evans, 22, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Born August 8, 1989 in Cabarrus County, he ws the son of Teddy Carson Blanton, II and Rebecca Lynn Evans-Phelps. Educated in the Rowan County Schools, Dain had worked with his father at National Code Electric. A gentle, sweet natured soul, Dain was a lover of animals, music and was a gifted guitar player.
Family members who will always treasure and be thankful for his life include his father, Teddy Carson Blanton, II and his "Bonus Mom", Lydia, of Salisbury, his mother, Rebeeca Lynn Evans-Phelps, and brother, Michael Phelps, of China Grove, and his sister, Nicole Evans Baucom and husband, Andy, of Burlington.
The family will receive friends Saturday 3:00-5:00 at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with the funeral service beginning at 5:00 in the funeral home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Snipes.Arrangements under the direction of Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, NC.
