

Born in Rowan County on June 21, 2008, he was the son of Gary Goodman, Jr. and Christy Bell Goodman.
Those who knew Dalton will always remember him for his love to laugh and desire to make others happy. He always enjoyed sitting on his daddy’s lap. The greatest testimony Dalton had was his love for the Lord Jesus. The love that he shared with his family will never fade; it will live on in each one’s heart always.
Dalton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie “Popi-Pop” Bell, Linda “Mimi” Bell and Judy “Grandma” Elliott and his infant twin, Nicky.
The family that remains to cherish his memories are his parents, Gary and Christy Goodman, Jr. ; brother, Aidan Goodman; sister, Julie Laplatt and husband Andrew, and his grandparents, Gary and Hilda Goodman Sr.
Dalton is further survived by his aunts and uncles, Brad and Brittany Goodman, Mark Simmons and Rodney and Sonya Hammell; many great aunts and great uncles who loved his dearly.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 22, 2025, from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church.
The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jason Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to express their appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to all the caregivers, nurses and doctors for their exceptional care shown to them and Dalton over the years.
