Dana Paulette Wycoff Davis, age 65 of Salisbury, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at NOVANT Presbyterian-Main in Charlotte after a brief illness. Born November 5, 1955 in Rowan County, Dana was the daughter of the late Paul Wycoff and Annie Pauline Trexler Wycoff. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Davis; her brother, Kenneth Wycoff and grandson, Devin Williams.
Dana spent the earlier part of her career working for Fluor Daniels (Fiber Industries) and later became a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Dana loved life, her family and her grandchildren. She enjoyed racing and karaoke and she was an avid bowler – winning many tournaments and even traveled to Reno, NV to bowl. Dana did love to travel – she loved going to the beach, to Cherokee and going on different cruises. She lived life to the fullest.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, David Dixon Jr. (Keila) and Paul Davis, along with her daughters, Katrina Goodman (Lynn) and Annie Williams (Eddie). She also leaves behind her brother, Ramsey Dove and her sisters, Barbara Lambert (Russell) and Judith Lemmonds (Arnold) along with her grandchildren, Angel Brewer, Samantha Adams, Taylor Brewer, Tristan Nantz, Brittany Mock, Dawson Williams, Tristan Dixon and Dylan Davis. Also surviving are her eight great-grandchildren, Cayden Welch, Dani Lynn Brewer, Braxton Adams, Gaige Slough, Draiden Slough, Noel Slough, Dakota Winecoff and Blake Daniels.
Visitation for Dana will be Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. Funeral Service will be in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00am at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home officiated by Bobby Dionne. Burial will follow immediately at Brookhill Memorial Gardens in Rockwell.
