Danny Carl Goodman, age 71, of Salisbury, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Glenn Kiser Hospice House. Danny was born on May 6, 1955, and was honorably discharged from the US Army. His passion for life was reflected in his love for the beach, where he cherished every moment spent by the ocean. Above all, Danny was known for storytelling. Always ready to share a laugh or an intriguing story, he had a unique ability to connect with others. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Doris Goodman, and Myrtle Sloop Goodman.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Christina Goodman and significant other Christopher Torrence; daughter Heather Johnson and husband Colby; grandson Dakota Bostian; along with many other friends who will miss him dearly.
Family-led services to celebrate Danny’s life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, with visitation starting from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm at Mount Moriah Lutheran Church. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 pm. Inurnment will be held at the Mount Moriah Lutheran Church Cemetery.
