Mr. Melton retired from Duke Energy after 30+ years of service.
On January 18, 1975, he married Amy Renee Bostian Melton, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his children, Jeffery Lynn Melton and Lisa Nicole Morris; grandchildren, Logan Sims, Megan Scripa, Brittany Melton, Courtney Melton, Hailey Melton, Katlyn Melton and Kayla Melton; great-grandchildren, Ariel, Kinsley and Dawson and extended grandma, Martha Isom.
No services will be held at this time.
