Doug was a huge part of my childhood
Day trips to his house to play with Melinda
Dancing and movie watching in his living room
And laughing until our sides hurt
He always gave me candy with one of his warming smiles and jokes
He will be greatly missed but his memories will forever live on

I've known Doug for decades and I've NEVER seen him turn down a chance to help. He was warm hearted to the bone and giving to a fault sometimes but that was just him. It'd be hard to fill his shoes. He was one of the good ones and I'll miss him greatly . My precious brother you are gone but never forgotten. May the Lord hold you in His arms till we meet again. I'm right behind you brother and I'll see you soon. All our love and prayers for the family and we pray for you to find peace in knowing he's in a much better place than this world. Yes, Doug was a sweet, charming man who loved his family and friends. He was always willing to help anyone he could. Often when he was working at the alternator shop he has fixed my car. Known him since the 70's and he's helped my nieces and nephews so many times. He will be remembered fondly in all of our hearts. To his family : I pray you have peace and sweet memories to share with each other to keep him in your hearts until you meet again in Heaven. God bless you all in Jesus's holy name!
