I met Sparky when I started working in the Special Services department of Home Depot, in my mid twenties. I had lost my father a few years prior to that. From the time I started working there, he was like a teacher to me. He not only trained me in that department, but talked about lots of interesting things he was knowledgeable about. He was one of the easiest people to talk with, that I have ever encountered. I was very curious about the stock market at that time, and Sparky started teaching me about the history of the market. We started studying different technical indicators at he and Gigi's house. They were like parents to me. I have many fond memories of hanging out with them both. I looked at him like a father figure and friend. He will forever be dear to my heart and I look forward to seeing him again one day. Sparky, you will be missed!

Sparky will be missed. He always stopped and talked with me when he was out walking. He was very kind and always knew about a lot of different things. He was a Great neighbor. I will keep the family in my prayers.

Sparky was one of the best friends I have ever had. We were together for many years in Florida on the crew at McDonald's, getting "rich quick" together at 72 Magazine, selling ads at the St. Pete Times, being partners in three BBQ restaurants and selling used cars for AVIS. We were warriors in the battles of life and living, and some of the best memories I have of those times was when we were side by side in those battles. (and, a few parties!) Ever the optimist: "It will be better tomorrow, and here's the plan!" Sparky always had the best ideas. The ideas did not always work out but that did not stop him from hatching the next one! I will always remember and cherish the memories of our times together. Thanks for being my friend, Sparky.
