

Mrs. Frances Sue Donohue, 80 of Salisbury, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Kiser Hospice House. Born on November 14, 1936 in Lake City, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Nellie Johle Powell. Educated in the Arkansas schools, she was a machine inspector with McDonald Douglas Aircraft in Culver City, California. Mrs. Donohue enjoyed gardening, traveling and going to Las Vegas and enjoying the company of her pets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Jerry Lee Wilson Sr., her daughter Connie Kiser, son Jerry Lee Wilson Jr. as well as brothers Burton Baucom and Bobby Powell. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Zachary Mack (Shawn Wall) of New York City, daughter Crystal Wilson of China Grove, brother John Powell (Shelby) of Vancouver, Washington as well as 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 1:00 til 2:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, with funeral at 2:00 also at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Beaver, minister. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Kiser Hospice House for their care and compassion given to their loved one.
