Georgianne was preceded in death by her parents, George and Beulah Mae Ragland; her brother, Michael Ragland; and her husband, Ernest “Sparky” Guthrie. Georgianne will be lovingly remembered for her passion for art and music. She especially enjoyed drawing with conté crayons and writing catchy Christian songs. She also treasured the time she spent with her son, Ian, creating precious memories that he will carry with him always.
Those left to cherish Georgianne’s memory include her son, Ian Guthrie, and his wife, Ashly; her sisters, Debbie James and her husband, Christopher, and Tracy Korb and her husband, Don; and her brother, Everett Ragland.
A graveside service honoring Georgianne’s life will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, North Carolina.
