Gidget Marie Jones

Born in Cabarrus County on March 17, 1966, she was the daughter of William Howard Jones and the late Cynthia Joyce Savage Jones.

Gidget worked for Allstate Insurance for 34 years and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

She loved going to the river and beach, but most of all she loved her family and friends.

In addition to her father, those left to cherish her memory are her son, Mitchell Harkey and Sister, Cheryl (Eric) Dearmon; and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to Novant Health Medical Center Foundation – Breast Health Fund.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation and say “Thank You” to “Gidget’s Girls” for their friendship throughout the years and for their extra love and support to her, and the family, as well, over the past few months.
