
Mrs. Helen Yvonne Misenheimer, age 87, of China Grove, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Born October 11, 1934 in Rowan County, Helen was the daughter of the late Eli Jacob Sifford and Nora Pauline Fraley Sifford. n addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gonzalee Misenheimer, her great granddaughter, Addison Grace Call and her brothers, Marcus, Douglas and Franklin Sifford, as well as sisters, Wanda Ennis, Rebecca Belk, Phyllis Erwin and Janet Young.
Helen was ducated in the Rowan County Schools, she was a longtime member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She worked for many years in the textile industry before going to work at Belk Department Stores in office administration. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, as well as quilting-making beautiful quilts.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jimmy Misenheimer (Cheryl) and daughter, Brenda Call (David). Surviving brothers are Jimmy Sifford and sisters; Karen (Kay) Wilhelm, Pam Burris, Sybil Hardin, Gwen Morgan, Jean Taylor and Jackie Allen. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jason Call (Christy), Clint Misenheimer (Kat), Laura Jenkins (Josh) as well as her great-grandchildren, Gemma Armour Misenheimer, Hannah Grace Jenkins, Macy Faith Call, Attrius Lee Jenkins and Emmersyn Hope Call.
Visitation for Helen will be on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am in the Chapel with Deacon Robin Cogan, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Rowan Memorial Park in Salisbury. Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Misenheimer.
