Ida Rose Wise

Born on February 9, 1913 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late William Gibson and Lola Leazer Basinger.

Educated in the Rowan County Schools, she was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husbands, Eddie Weant and Henry Wise. Also preceding her is her daughter Sue Burgess, great granddaughter Leah Weaver, step children, Sam, Lonnie ,Walter and Maxine Wise and step Great Grandchild Carol Ann Bunn. Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter Ruth Weant Weaver (John) of Lenoir, and step daughter Arlene Wise of China Grove. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren

Visitation will be on Saturday from 3:00 til 4:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral at 4:00 also at the funeral home with Rev. Lester Honson, minister. Burial will follow at Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
