

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, James Alexander Osborne and Mona Sylvia Woodie Osborne; by his loving grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Teresa Fite (Tony) and David Osborne (Patti); one aunt, Rena Marshall; two nephews and niece, Anthony Shane Fite (Michelle), Casey Fite (Elizabeth), and niece, Stephanie Osborne Russell (Bryan); and two great-nephews and four great-nieces.
Over the years, James worked in the healthcare industry as a polysomnographic technician (sleep tech). He always loved traveling and antiques. He was also an extra in the movie, "We Are Marshalls". When he was younger, he modeled in the clothing/retail industry.
A visitation is scheduled to take place at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, located at 1420 North Main St., China Grove, NC, on January 16, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow in the Northcrest Chapel of the funeral home, starting at 1:00 pm.
Mr. Osborne will be laid to rest at West Lawn Memorial Park. China Grove, NC.
