Jean Annette Sechler Simmons

Jean will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection—a beloved woman of strength and independence whose care for others was steady and sincere. Her faith remained a guiding presence throughout her life, and she found comfort and meaning in worship at Oak Grove Methodist. Above all, Jean loved her family, and she also delighted in simple joys, including going out to eat.

Jean was preceded in death by her sons, Kelly Lynn Rumple and Ricky Wayne Simmons; pup, Sadie and her great-grand pup, Odie.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pamela Rodgers (Donald); grandchildren, Susan Ratliffe (James), Jessica Rumple (Jeff), Lucas Rodgers (Mariann), Leah Rodgers (Ben), and Loren Rodgers; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Ratliffe and Raelynn Rodgers; pup, Dylan; great-grand pups, Ollie Mae and Charlie.

A Funeral Service will be held at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home on July 27, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Graveside Service will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park at 3:00 pm.
