John David Leach

Mr. John David Leach 75 of Southport, NC passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 in Tabor City, NC. Born on August 15, 1941 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late John Henry and Naomi Wells Leach. Educated in the Rowan County Schools, he was a self employed auto mechanic and was owner operator of Dutchman Creek Bait and Tackle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife Billie Leach. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, sons John Leach of Walnut Cove and Ronnie Leach of Albemarle and daughters Angie and Teresa Leach of Southport. Also surviving him are his step children Jimmy Kincaid of Rockwell and Chris Henderson of Faith

He was also survived by his fiance’ Anita Lowery as well as sisters Shirley Beaver and Priscilla Hughes and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 6:00 til 8:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral on Friday at 2:00 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.linnhoneycuttfuneralhome.com
