Kelly was born on September 15, 1968, in Cabarrus County. She was the cherished daughter of Bobby and Geraldine Wilcox. She was preceded in death by her father Bobby, sister, Lisa Donahue, and daughter, Krista Cook.
Kelly lived a life marked by strength, independence, and unwavering loyalty to those she loved. A fond memory for most people that knew her was, Kellys ability to understand people enough to be the best gift giver. Kelly was not one who was considered made on money, but her ability to be a great thrift shopper always came in handy.
She adored animals and shared a special bond with her Noochie dog, cats and her single chicken that thinks he is a cat. They weren’t just pets to her, they were family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband of 20 years, Anthony Romeo (Tony); sons, Matthew Cook, and Brody Romeo; daughter, Maddison Wike; grandchildren, Mersaddies Honeycutt, Titan Cook, and Hattie Cook, along with a niece, nephew, two aunts,a cousin, and her best friend.
A Celebration of Life to Honor Kelly will be on October 10, 2025, at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm.
