Kenneth Calvin Cantrell, age 59, of China Grove, North Carolina passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at his home. Born September 25, 1961 in Tampa, Florida, Kenneth was the son of the late Lee Cantrell and Fannie Stiller Cantrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Lee Cantrell, Jr. He attended Bible Missionary Church in Rockwell.
Kenneth attended South Rowan High School and worked for many years for Suburban Propane. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He was truly a man of faith and enjoyed reading and studying his Bible. Kenneth was a real history buff and enjoyed talking historical facts and sharing them with everyone. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and adored his time with them.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Alisa Cantrell; his daughters, Ashley Jay (Alex) and Jessica Baker. He also leaves behind his sisters, Diana Cantrell (Ron), Jacquie French (Doug) and Tonya Dunfy (Dan) along with his grandchildren, Lillian currin, Aiden Jay, Avery Jay, Emma Jay, Axten Jay and Malakiah Baker-Trobaugh.
Visitation will be private for the family. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Kenneth and in celebration of his upcoming 60th (heavenly) birthday will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 1:00pm at Bible Missionary Baptist Church in Rockwell. The family has asked you kindly remember Kenneth with memorials in his honor to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
