Kenneth was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, and he also enjoyed spending time hunting. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Bob, Don, Betty, and Lorrine; and his first wife, who is the mother of his daughters: Shirley Harkey.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son: Kenton Harkey and his mother: Charlotte Burton; daughters: Cathy Garmon and Denise Milem (Doug); along with a number of great, great-great, and great-great-great grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, and other family members that loved him.
