

Born on March 28, 1945 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Frederick Martin and Esther Morgan Iddings. A graduate of North Rowan High School, he was a member of Blackwelder Park Baptist Church, where he was instrumental in the growth of the Sunday School department. He was an active member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association (CMA), where he held various leadership roles during his membership. Mr. Iddings retired from Hoechst Celanese, serving as a supervisor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a brother Jerry Iddings. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 31 years, Yvonne Demoise Iddings, sons Jeffrey Scott Iddings of Concord and Joseph Martin Iddings of Kannapolis, daughters, Julie Iddings Redmon (Donald) of Concord and Brittany Iddings Saunders (Adam) of Lexington and sister Trudy Wilde of Salisbury. Also surviving him are 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Phil Goble, minister. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
