In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Rivenbark.
James always took pride in what he did. Whether he was working with his HVAC Company, Restoring an old car, or spending time with his family, he always put all his effort to doing it right. While he did love camping, having a Diet Dr. Pepper or Coke in his hand, and his horses, he loved his family most of all.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 44 years, Susan; sons, Doug and Jamie (Keira); grandchildren, Maddox, Julie, Aubrey, and Kadence; sister, Faith (Rocky); brother, Rodney (Joy), as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home of China Grove. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Enon Baptist Church in Salisbury with the Rev. Isaac Rivenbark officiating.
