

Lillie Audrine Burleson Robinson, age 70, of Rockwell, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at her residence. She was born in China Grove on February 5, 1956, the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Audrine Wilma Burleson. Lillie dedicated over 30 years of her life as a truck driver for Blue Max Trucking, earning a reputation for her exceptional skills and strong commitment to her job. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing games on her phone, dancing to her favorite tunes, and the thrill of deep-sea fishing. However, her greatest joy came from spending quality time with her family and caring for her beloved Dachshunds, who brought love and companionship into her life.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Tab Burleson and sister Sheila Safrit.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children Braddy Carter, III, Glenn Carter, Deidra Carter, and Timothy Dale Carter and wife Kacie; sister-in-law Carmen Carter; grandchildren CJ, Aleena, Jordan, Caleb, Chance, Audrey, Cameron, Caden, Haley, Christian, Ethan, Allyanna, Ayvah, and Gage; 10 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way; brother Roger Burleson; along with many others who loved her dearly.
The family will have a visitation to celebrate Lillie’s life on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home. Burial will be private at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery.
