

Born May 27, 1934, in Salisbury, he attended Cabarrus County school systems. He retired with the City of Concord after 22 ½ years as a Supervisor.
He enjoyed driving Micro Midget Cars and loved classic cars. He attended the Rocky River Baptist Church.
He is the son of the late Roy Lee Kepley and Dorothy Hartsell Kepley.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Hinson Kepley; son, Lloyd Eugene Kepley (Rebecca) of Garden City, S.C.;
daughters, Cynthia Shaver (Tom) of Salisbury, Robin K. Black (Keith) of Gold Hill, Elaine K. Lagamba (Mike) of Shallotte, and Belinda K. Haywood (James) of Salisbury; brothers, Ray Kepley of Concord, Larry Kepley of New London, and Calvin Kepley of Rockwell; sisters, Fay Gobble of Kissimmee, Fla., Peggy McCluskey of New London, and Barbara Kepley of Murfreesboro, Tenn. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughter Rebecca Gail Kepley who passed away March 27, 2015.
Visitation will be held Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m., at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., at the funeral home chapel, burial will follow at the Brookhill Memorial Garden Cemetery. Officiating will be the Minister Bruce Graham.
