Lois Albright Faggart

Born in China Grove on July 17, 1918 to the late Robert White Albright and Julia Coon Albright. She was the wife of the late Harold Eugene Faggart, being married on Oct. 10, 1936. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage before Harold passed away in 1998. For many years, Lois made it her goal to read through the Bible from cover to cover. As she read, she marked each Bible with the dates she read the chapters.

Both were very active members of Grace Covenant Church, Kannapolis, where Lois, along with her now deceased daughter, Sybil Bost, (2001), wife of Perry Bost , taught the teenage girls Sunday School Class for 40 years. Also preceding Lois in death was her youngest son, Warren, (1949).

Lois is survived by one son, Dennis Faggart (Joyce) of Lancaster, Pa and 5 grandchildren; Brian (Tammie) Castle Rock, CO; Sandra Taylor (Mark), Annapolis, MD; Wendy Faggart, Lancaster, Pa.; Cathy Harsh, (Dennis), Ephrata, PA. and Derek Bost, (Kim), Concord, NC. She also has 6 great grandchilden: Jessica Harsh, Tyler Harsh, Katie Faggart, Trevor Faggart, Nicki Taylor and Payton Bost. Most recently, Nov. 7, 2015, a great great grandson, Greyson Auker.

Also preceding Lois in death are 5 brothers and sisters; Snook Williams, Beatrice Swink, Ray Albright, Clifford (Tip) Albright and Carl Albright. Lois was the last of her immediate family.

Lois was a very caring, loving and God fearing person and was EARTH MOTHER to 3 very special nieces and one very special nephew; Pat Tyson, Sharon Kinnis, and Norma Burgess and the now deceased Allen Swink. After their mothers passed away, Lois was adopted by them be their EARTH MOTHER and they loved her very much and made her life much more comfortable and filled it will love and joy.

Funeral services will be at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, 1420 N. Main St, China Grove, NC, on Tues., Dec. 8. Visitation will be 10-11 AM with the service scheduled at 11 AM. After the service, burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park, Concord, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Lois to: Grace Covenant Church, 1000 N. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
