Margaret Ellen Holden

Mrs. Holden was born on August 27, 1939 in Martins Ferry, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Charles Ellsworth Myers and Myrtle Marie Carpenter Myers. Educated in the Ohio schools.

Her work was in the environmental departments of various heath care facilities such as NEMC and China Grove Middle School and North Rowan High School. Her family and her Lord were very important to her.

Mrs. Holden was a member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle in Salisbury, NC.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William Holden, sons Vincent Charles and Gene Michael Morando as well as 4 brothers and 8 sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son Joseph Lee Morando (fiance' Pam Miller) and daughter Arleta Jane Morando Robinette (Thomas Jr.). Also surviving her are her sister Rose Myers Smith and grandchildren Geno Morando (Linda), of Charlotte, Jacob Morando and Jesse Morando (Teresa), Megan Morando all of Sandusky, Ohio and Amanda Kioukis (Tony) of Salisbury, Tabitha Walker(Michael) of Shelby, and Tiffany Lyles (Josh) of China Grove. Her great grandchildren are Ryan, Lilly, Dalton, Delilah, Charlie Faith and Daniel Morando and John Thomas and Khloe Kioukis and Tripp and Callie Walker.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 11:00 am till 12:00 noon with memorial service to follow at 12 at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle with Pastor Steve Holshouser, officiating.

Special thanks to her Hospice nurse, Christy Sigmon for all of her sweet love and care. Also to Wendy Bradshaw, (you have a sweet spirit, thank you). Our family is very thankful. God’s Blessings Always.
