Marjie Marie Isenhour Kluttz

Mrs. Marjie M Isenhour Kluttz 86 of Salisbury lost her battle with Alzheimers after many years on Tuesday September 3, 2013. She passed away at Genesis Healthcare with her family by her side. Born on May 1, 1926 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Nellie Waddell Isenhour. She attended Rowan County Schools and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She retired from Fiber Industries and loved to fish with her husband, gardening and cooking. She loved to travel and to spend time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Rufus Kluttz in 2010, to whom she married in December of 1943, a daughter Sandra Dennis in 2009, a granddaughter Christine Kluttz, and brothers Jack and Jerry Isenhour. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Larry Kluttz (Becky) of Mt. Ulla, Dianne Cartee (Bob) of Kannapolis and Melody Hartsell (Mark) of Salisbury, brothers Glenn and Melvin Isenhour. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00 til 3:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral service at 3:00 also the funeral home. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. All other times the family will be at the home of Larry and Becky Kluttz of Mt. Ulla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Alzheimers Association, 3800 Shamrock Dr. Charlotte, NC 28215. The family would like to thank the staff of Genesis Healthcare for their care and compassion for our mother.
