Mark Daniel Hager

Mark Daniel Hager, age 62 of Landis, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Medical Center. Born on December 21, 1961 in Iredell County, he was the son of the late Thomas Hager Sr. and Carolyn Day Hager.

He was a 1981 graduate of South Rowan High School and a 1985 graduate of Appalachian State University. Mark was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church in Kannapolis. Some of his favorite things to do included grilling out and watching Dallas Cowboys and Appalachian State Football. NASCAR, camping out and walking his dogs were also some of his enjoyments, Being with his Mom for breakfast and spending special time with his daughter were important. Being at the Webb Road Flea Market on Saturdays and Sundays also made him happy.

In addition to his mother, those with cherished memories are his daughter Alexis Hager (Matthew Browne) and son Tyler Ledbetter, brothers Bradley Hager (Marcia), Thomas Hager Jr. and Paul Hager and niece Hannah Brooks and nephew Devin Hager.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, with funeral to follow at 2:00 pm also at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Stedman, officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
