Mary Alice Jones Eaton

Born in Lancaster, South Carolina on October 19, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Wren Jones and Cynthia Eliza Lathan Johnson.

Mary worked as a waitress and cook for many years and managed a mobile home park for several years. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, taking care of her family.

She grew up in church and enjoyed going if her health allowed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Lynn Poole and Joe Poole; two sisters, Carolyn Houser and Brenda Clark; grandchildren, Cory Jones, Tyler Smith, Joseph Jones, Ian McKinney, Tracy Suttles, Nicole Wright and Ashley Clark.

Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Kinley Willis, Emerson Jones, Aidan Smith, Myles Smith and Mia Underwood.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
