

Born January 9, 1952 in McDowell County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Adolphus Wallace and Betty Powers Wallace.
In addition to her parents, Nyoka was also preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Black; two sons, Romie Lee Bolen and Roy Lee Bolen; one brother, Franklin J. Wallace; two sisters, Vickie Pearson and Connie Keene and sister-in-law, Melissa Wallace.
Over the years, Nyoka worked in manufacturing and was a homemaker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, James (Anna) Dial, Billy Joe (Beth) Dial, Sterling Dial, Adolphus Bolen and Clyde (Pam) Bolen; sister, Diana (Eugene) Keene; twenty grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Grover Keene and Terry Keene; several nieces and nephews; a special sister-in-law, Yvonnie Martin and five special friends.
A visitation for Nyoka will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home
A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Northcrest Chapel with Rev. Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
