

Born on October 15, 1943 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Richard Alexander Overcash and Margaret Overcash Overcash.
He was a 1961 graduate of China Grove High School and earned his Eagle Scout. Ronnie worked for and retired from Food Lion after 42 years as warehouse supervisor and inventory control associate.
He was a lifelong active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. During his membership, he was on the church council and served as president multiple terms. He was also involved in the Men in Mission.
Ronnie had a real passion for youth sports where he was active in the China Grove Civitan where he served as president. He was the commissioner of the China Grove Little League as well.
Those with cherished memories are his children; daughter, Rhonda Martin (Clai), son, Micah Overcash (Shea), daughter, Anita Turner (Mike) and daughter, Jetana McKinley. Also surviving him are his sisters, Linda Overcash Hampton (Larry) and Rita Overcash Akers. Grandchildren are Seth Martin and Taylor Martin, Benson Overcash, Beckett Overcash, Beau Overcash, Alex Cannon, Megan Johnson, Chandler McKinley, Maddie Gilson and Connor McKinley. Also surviving him is Linda Wood Overcash.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:30 till 4 :00 pm at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in China Grove, 326 N. Main St. China Grove, NC, with memorial service to follow at 4:00 also at the church with Pastor Jeff Topinka officiating.
A private committal service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in China Grove, NC.
