Roy Kevin Williams

Roy "Kevin" Williams age 53, born December 7th, 1968, entered the gates of Heaven on November 16, 2017. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Julian Thomas Williams, mother Louise Miller Williams, and Ronald Wayne Williams.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Smith Williams, of twenty-seven years, son Ryan Keith Williams, Barbara's parents, Terry and Teresa Smith, who were devoted and caring throughout Barbara and Kevin's marriage and helped care for Kevin throughout his illness. Kevin is also survived by his step-mother Pauline Bostian Williams, brother James Carl Williams (Christy), sister Donna Williams Elliott (David), and sister Cynthia Williams Moore (Jimmy), a host of nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends. A special thanks to Pauline Bostian Williams for loving Kevin like her own son and always being there for him throughout the years.

Kevin served in the United States Marine Corps from 1982-1990 as an Aviation Operations Specialist and received various decorations and commendations.

The Family will receive friends at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove on Sunday evening November 19th from 7:00-9:00 P.M. and funeral services conducted by Pastor Doug McGee on Monday November 20th at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park in Salisbury, N.C.
