Born in Florence, SC on May 16, 1958, he was the son of the late Samuel Milton Floyd and Joyce Amelia Morris Floyd.
Tim worked for NGK in Mooresville. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, listening and sharing music and traveling to see old and new places. Mostly, he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 27 years, Glenda Adale Roberts Floyd; three stepsons, Robert Sipes, Carl Sipes and Roger Sipes; and one sister, Tami Honeycutt (James “Hub” Honeycutt).
Step-grandchildren, Patricia Sipes, Chloe Sipes, Michael Sipes, Matthew Sipes and Felicia Johnson, and many friends further survive Tim.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the Northcrest Chapel of the funeral home with Greg McCubbins officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made in Tim’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
