Sandra Simmons Watson

Born in Cabarrus County on June 22, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Gene Simmons and Nancy Mae Ritchie Simmons.

In addition to her parents, her brother, Randy Gene Simmons and one son, Nathan O’Neal Whitsel, also preceded Sandra in death.

Sandra worked many years in healthcare, as a private duty CNA and in administration for ALF facilities.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and her love and compassion for the elderly and her animals.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bobby Lee Watson; daughter, Dawn Michelle Whitsel; stepdaughters, Leighanna Marie Kluttz (Logan) and Jennifer Watson; three grandchildren Megan Daniels, Hannah Daniels and Emma Phillips and one step-grandson, Graham Kluttz.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home - Northcrest Chapel with Rev. Randy Fleming officiating.

Sandra will be laid to rest at West Lawn Memorial Park.
