Sarah Ann Goodman

.Mrs. Sarah Ann Goodman, 76 passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at her home. Born on April 1, 1940 in Cabarrus County she was the daughter of Calvin Jordan and the late Margaret Wagner Jordan. Educated in the Rowan County Schools, she was a longtime member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church, where she was the church treasurer. Mrs. Goodman loved to go fishing and work in her garden. She retired from Cannon Mills after many years of service. In addition to her mother, she was preceded by her husband Harold L. Goodman in 2010, as well as her sons Barry L. Beaver and David Beaver and one grandchild.. In addition to her father, those left to cherish her memory are her children, Bobby L Beaver (Wanda) of Kannapolis, Terry L. Beaver (Sherry) of Salisbury, Theresa L. Ludwick of Kannapolis and Tina L. Parham (Jackie) of China Grove. She was also survived by her half brother Tim Jordan as well as 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday form 7:00 til 9:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral on Friday at 11:00 am at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. George Bradshaw, minister. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 880 Old Linn Rd. China Grove, NC 28023.
