Shirley Bullard Miller, 88, passed on October 26, 2026. Born July 15, 1938, Shirley was the daughter of her late parents, Eil Alfred Bullard and Martha Matilda Purvis Bullard. She lived her life with steady devotion and a faith that remained first in her heart, offering kindness and generosity in ways that made others feel seen, supported, and deeply cherished. Her strength was quiet but enduring, marked by honesty, resilience, and a selfless care for those she loved.
Shirley was married for many years to the love of her life, the late Jimmy Miller. Together, they built a family that remained at the center of her days and her prayers. A godly woman who cherished her family, she also found joy in simple companionship and time shared—especially going out with her friend Helen Castor.
Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Miller (Donna), and her daughter, Sandra Benfield (Mike).
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jimmy Miller (Janet) and Bo Miller (Teresa); her niece, Jeannie Beaver; and many greats and grands.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday, November 02, 2026, at 1:00pm, with the service to follow at 2:00pm at linn-Honeycutt funeral home. After, there will be a graveside service at West Lawn at 3:00pm.
