He is survived by his devoted wife of many years, Marie Hawthorne, and his beloved children: daughters Melissa, Charmaine, and Michelle (husband Robert), and son Mark (wife Kerri). Joe was a proud grandfather to Jordin, Tre, Alex, Joseph, Justin, Dylan, Kaitlin, Hunter, and Ciara, and was blessed with three great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Anthony, and Jayce.
Terry was a loving husband and father. He will be deeply missed by all, including his nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service officiated by Donnie Stowe will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 3:00 pm at West Lawn Memorial Park, located at 1350 South Main Street, China Grove, NC 28023.
