Mr. Thomas Raymond Jackson, age 56 of Kannapolis passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Atrium Health-Cabarrus. Thomas was born on April 14, 1963 in Chesterfield County, SC to the late Culbert Will Jackson and Voncille Poston Jackson. Thomas was of Baptist faith.

Thomas was a joy to be around and was always smiling. He loved life and was “happy-go-lucky” and he never met a stranger. He was a blessing to everyone who knew him. Thomas loved EVERYTHING Elvis, loved going to the Joy Prom and dancing. He had a great love for his family, especially his many nieces and nephews. Thomas’ favorite thing was eating his favorite meals made for him by his sister, Lucy. Desserts made by her were a special favorite and he loved helping his brother in-law, Wayne work in his yard. Thomas loved life and lit up everywhere he went and made everyone smile.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Lucy Jackson Lisk (Wayne), Bessie Foster (Mike), Lucille Watford (George) and Betty Jo Ussery (Jack) along with his brothers, Will David Jackson (Gloria) and Robert Andrew Jackson (Patricia). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A beautiful Celebration of Life service for Thomas will be on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 3:00pm at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove.
