I lived next door to Tommie in Austin for a number of years, and I remember Tommie and her sisters fondly. I am sorry for your loss.

I had the great honor to know Tommie and to be her roommate on many occasions at needlework seminars and retreats. We would talk late into the night, and she would tell me stories about the Taylor sisters, the family to which she was devoted, and growing up in Smithville.  She so appreciated all you did for her and was so very proud of you and of all her family.  She was gentle and loving; we all learned so much from her example.  She made us better people. I know you will miss her, and I hope you are comforted in your memories of her.
