

In addition to his parents, Will was also preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean Fesperman “B.J.” and his brother, Benjamin Franklin Fesperman.
Born in Rowan County on July 27, 1940, he was the son of the late Herman Franklin Fesperman and Grace Julian Safrit Fesperman.
Will attended Rowan County Schools and was of the Lutheran faith.
He retired from Rowan-Kannapolis ABC Store and was the previous owner of Ben & Will’s Texaco Service Station in Landis along with his brother, Ben. He also worked at Cannon Mills.
Will enjoyed traveling to the coast and mountains. He was a Lifetime member of Kannapolis Moose Lodge.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Joann Wingler (Albert) and Alice Lloyd; nieces and nephews, Donna (Roger) Taylor, Connie Weaver (Danny), Andy (Sandy) Fesperman, Lamar (Kim) Lloyd, Patti (Scott) Gosnell, Wanda (Tim) Bell and Chad (Anne) Wingler.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 12:30 PM – 1:45 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the Northcrest Chapel of the funeral home, with entombment to follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Carlin Ours and Rev. John W. Futterer are officiating.
