Abel is survived by his wife, Inez Miramon; his son Paul Miramon; and his daughter Mary Laurie Millsaps.

A burial will occur Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 12:45 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518. Miiltary honors will occur Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 12:50 PM.
