

David Montoya, 91 of Chino Hills passed away September 27, 2012 in Chino Hills, CA after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born to Juan and Sara Montoya on August 31, 1921 in Tucson, Arizona. David lived in San Juan Capistrano for 17 years and lived in La Habra for 27 years prior to moving to Chino Hills. Before his retirement in 1986 he worked for Rockwell/ Northrop as an Electrical Engineer for 30 years. David served his country in Greenland during WWII as a member of the US Army Air Corps. He was a Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 833, where he was awarded the Boy Scout Leader Silver Beaver Award. While living in San Juan Capistrano he was a Science Program Mentor. He was active in the Parish Holy Name Society and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. David leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years Dorothy Montoya, sons Mark (Wanda) Montoya of Chino, Brian (Debbie) Montoya of Chino Hills, brother Daniel Montoya, and 5 grandchildren.
