George Newman

George Newman, 70, of Chino Hills, passed away June 30, 2011 in Chino. He was born July 25, 1940 in Bronx, New York. George lived previously in Diamond Bar and was a retired Army Major. He proudly served our country in the USMC and held a Master's degree in Business. George was a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Chino Hills. He is survived by his children Christine M. (Jason) Larson of Chino Hills, and George William Newman of Covina. George is also survived by his brother Terry Newman of New York, brother-in-law William Truett and grandchildren Mathew and Joshua Larson and Brittany King. A viewing will be held 5-8 p.m, Monday, July 11, 2011 at Pierce Bros Griffith Mortuary in Chino, with rosary at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m, Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills. Interment with full honors will follow at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside. Funeraria del Angel Pierce Bros Griffith, Chino, in charge of arrangements.
