Gertrude Joan Smith , 79 of Chino Hills passed away at home surrounded by her family on August 22, 2012 . She was born March 19, 1933 to Dewey and Dora Heinsma.She dedicated her time as a Phyciatric Technician for the State of California retiring in 1995. Gertrude leaves behind to cherish her memory Children; Larry Smith, Marie Riley, Leo Smith, Kenny Smith, Stan Smith, Robert Smith, Dora Copple, James Smith and Della Smith , 31 Grandchildren, 55 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Living Word of Chino Hills on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 9-11 a.m. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am.
