Hey bro I been missing you so much I remember when  we use to all get together going to the Dodgers games & we always cheering them up. Oh & also been supporting the Raiders games win or lose always been there for our team also remember when you use use to joke around alot at work & always been your G the Famous Pollo Loco we hope we get to see each other soon bro now that your in a great place now RIP Jerry 🙏 

There's a saying that describes who Jerry was to many of us and it goes like this: There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains. We're definitely going to miss you and your goofy personality! You'll forever be apart of our family Jerry, and your memories will live in our hearts para siempre.

"CHAKA" Jerry always used to yell that when he saw me or the maro cruise by his house. Overall I cant pick one memory, because every outing, every get together, even if it was girls night, he was always the life of the party, he brought so much joy! You will be forever missed! & ALWAYS REMEMBERED!!

Conforme fui conociéndolo me di cuenta que era un joven muy especial, Trabajador y responsable de cuidar de su amada hija y esposa . Él estuvo dispuesto a confiar en mí para ayudarlo a conocer al Dios verdadero Jehová. Jerry aprendio, confió, y demostró que quería agradar a Dios. No me cabe la menor duda que Dios jamás olvidará la fé que él demostró en Dios. Cómo Dios no olvida alos que confían en él, estoy seguro que Jerry Lara estará en el libro de recuerdos de Jehová Dios que tiene escrito para resucitarlo y vuelva ala vida y pueda volver estar con nosotros en un futuro no muy lejano. Además Jehová Dios sentirá un gran anhelo en vorvelo a rescusitar. (Malaquias. 3:16) (Job. 14:14,15)

We were very fortunate to have met a good person like Jerry. We valued our friendship with him. We miss you and love you.

I still can’t believe your gone you became a good friend and the man that took my good friends heart ❤️ I will cherish the good memories we had together and thank you for always being a good friend I’m gonna miss talking shit to you till we meet again fly high and look over to those that grieve for your absence ! 

Where do I begin. I’ve know Jerry since before I was born. Our moms were bestfriends. Growing up the Lara’s were always around, we even lived together for a time so the memories are vast. But there is one that I will always remember and cherish and it was the time he taught me how to swim. We often went to Grampa and grandma’s during the weekends, I always stayed in the shallow side because I couldn’t swim. I was so scared of the deep end, it wasn’t until Jerry who threw me into the deep end the proceeded to tell me to go to the very bottom and push myself to the edge once I hit the bottom, which I did. Once at the edge he began explaining how to tread water(which I still suck at), he then had me swim back and forth on the shallow side until I was completely comfortable then he persuaded me into trying the slide which fell into the deep side. Challenge accepted I thought and did so cocky as can be. I failed miserably I couldn’t get myself to swim like I did on the shallow side. He then dove right in after me as if he knew I wasn’t going to make it. He then held me there above water and made me practice and practice until finally I got it. Jerry was much much more then a family friend. He was and is family, Jerry has taught me much more in life. He lived life excitingly from what I remember. He was the life of the party, a big ol’ goof ball, I’ll miss seeing you at the most random times. I’ll never be able to have that beer with you in this life but in the next be ready big guy! I love you girls. I’m sorry you all couldn’t share more time together. I’m sorry for the pain. I wish I could take it all away. I really do. I will forever pray for you girls. I love you all very very much. 

We were very joyful kids having the best time of our lifes, even with a language barrier, you managed to always made me feel welcome. Remembering your joyful smile always, and how much laughter we had as children's.
