Jorge Castro, age 80, passed away on June 11, 2026. Born on April 23, 1946, in Donna, Texas, Jorge carried with him a steady devotion to family, faith, and the responsibilities of daily life—qualities that shaped the way he lived and the way he will be remembered.
A man known for his kind heart and loyal presence, Jorge approached life with a quiet compassion that offered comfort to those around him. Through years of hard work as a Transmission Mechanic for Navel Exchange, he earned respect not through fanfare, but through consistency, skill, and a dependable commitment to doing things the right way.
Jorge’s faith remained a guiding strength. As a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, he lived with a faithful spirit that reflected itself in the care he showed others and the steady values he upheld.
Jorge is survived by his wife, Delia Sanchez Castro. He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Castro, and his mother, Elisa Garcia. Jorge leaves behind numerous family and friends to cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Chino, 13002 S. Central Ave., Chino, CA 91710, on July 24, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Rosary will follow at Funeraria Del Angel Chino on July 24, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 10191 Central Ave, Montclair, CA 91763, on July 25, 2026, at 9:00 am. Final resting place will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 444 E Lexington Ave, Pomona, CA 91766, on July 25, 2026, at 10:30 am.
