Louis J. Griffis went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2012, he passed away at St. Judes in Fullerton from a heart attack. He was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1933, and later moved to Long Beach at age 10. He proudly served in the U.S Army during the Korean War. He was in the Shipping and Trucking Industry for 20 years before starting his home repair service. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Carla, sons, Stephen (Julie), Gerald (Carol), John (Angie), daughter,
Lori (Paul), son Todd, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, sister Seanne Oliver, and brother Bill Griffis
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Griffis, and 2 great- granddaughters.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Louis to his church, Calvary Chapel of Chino Valley.
