Maria de Lurdes Barcelos, age 85, of Chino, California passed away Saturday Dec. 30th, 2023. Maria was born December 14, 1938 in Terceira, Açores. She and her family immigrated to the U.S. in 1968. Her husband, Valdemar Barcelos, preceded her in death on Feb. 10th, 2020. They were married for 64 yrs.
Maria is survived by her devoted children; daughter Elsa Barcelos-Sapp, her son Adelmaro Barcelos & her grandchild Andrew Sapp.
A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Chino, 13002 South Central Ave, Chino, CA 91710. A rosary will occur Monday, January 22, 2024 at 6:30 PM, 13002 S. Central Ave., Chino, CA 91710. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 12686 Central Ave., Chino, CA 91710. A final resting place will occur Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W G St., Ontario, CA 91762.
