Maria Cantu Hernandez, 94, of Chino, California, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026. She was born on September 16, 1932, in La Feria, Texas.
Maria was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother whose life was defined by kindness, generosity, and a gentle spirit. She had a warm heart and a caring nature, and she will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she shared with them will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
Maria leaves behind a beautiful family that reflects the life she nurtured and the love she gave throughout the years. She is survived by her nine children: Rafael, Rogelio, Ramon, Maria Elena, Roberto, Josefina, Abel, Hector and Jose. Her legacy continues through her 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a part of her story forward.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Hernandez, with whom she shared her life and family.
