Marta Beatriz Fernandez-Travieso

Marta B. Fernandez-Travieso, 80 years of age, passed away on October 20, 2015 at Chino Hills. She was born on July 25, 1935 in Havana, Cuba. Marta was a Chino Hills resident for 17 years and a previous Pasadena resident of 36 years. She worked as a Hearings Officer for the Social Security Administration for 20 years before her retirement in 1997. Marta was hard working, very dedicated and proudly earned her Bachelor’s Degree. She was a kind hearted lady with a pleasant sense of humor, enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will truly be missed by many. Marta was a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Chino Hills. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband Frank E. Fernandez-Travieso and her loving children Frank M. Travieso and wife Danielle Travieso, Ana Maria Mukanos and husband Dale Mukanos. Marta is also survived by her adoring grandchildren; Michaela Travieso, Alejandra Travieso, Christopher Mukanos and Alexander Mukanos. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills.
