Nellie Ann Martinez

January 22, 1946 - August 12, 2024

Our beloved Nellie Martinez, age 78, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024. She was surrounded by family in her final moments.

Nellie was born on January 22, 1946 to Joe and Braulia Gomez, in her childhood home on Eleventh St.

She graduated from Chino High School, class of 1963.

She enjoyed trips to the casino, dancing, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and crocheting (especially Christmas stockings for the newest members of the family. Most of all, Nellie loved spending time with her family.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Tia, and friend. her warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Nellie is survived by: her husband of 60 years, Manuel 'Mel" Martinez, daughter Joanne, sons: Manuel Jr. "Manny" and Reggie, grandchildren: Gabriel, Manuel III, Marissa, and her precious great-grandson: Taylor.

A visitation for Nellie will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Chino, 13002 South Central Ave, Chino, CA 91710. A funeral mass will occur Friday, August 30, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 5048 D. St, CA 91710. A burial will occur Friday, August 30, 2024.
