

Raymond Leo Aguillard was born on December 9, 1950 in Alexandria Louisiana. He attended St. James Elementary School in Alexandria until his family moved to California when he was 10 years old. He attended St. Albert the Great Elementary School, Verbum Dei High School for 2 years then graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1968.
While attending Mass one Sunday he met his future wife Paulette Benoit. They were married on July 5, 1969. Through their union they had 2 children, Michael and Angela. Raymond was a devout father and husband.
While he was married and had a family he continued his education at Cal State Dominguez acquiring his Bachelor of Arts Degree. Raymond supported his family working for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years in many capacities, retiring from the position of Labor Relations Specialist.
He is preceded in death by his parents Thaddeus and Marie Neal Aguillard and his brother Thaddeus Aguillard Jr.
He is survived by his wife Paulette, his son Michael, daughter Angela, daughter-in-law Karen, and two grandchildren Aleesha and Michael Raymond. Five sisters, Rose, Barbara, Evon, Lillian and Betty. Three brothers, Rodney, Jimmie and George. A mother-in-iaw Beulah Benoit, four brothers-in-law Ozzie and Frank Benoit, Raymond Gipson and Eddie Horan. Five sisters–in-law Michelle Aguillard, Kimberly and Becky Benoit, Francis and Sherry Lafear and a host of family and friends.
